Eshaness, Shetland
Shetland. The most northern Islands of Scotland.
I’ve been there in the 2014 Winter for the Up Helly Aa with my wife. We spent one week driving around the isles with a rented motorhome. Winter in the Shetland is stunning, strong winds, gales, battered cliffs. Weather is tough during this period but it can be a great experience if you like northern climate. Temperature are usually not so cold since the Gulf stream keep winter temperature usually above zero.
